In their ongoing drive to redress public grievances and improve police-public engagement, the Superintendent of Police (North) and Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) held a third meeting at five police stations across North Goa on Saturday.

The initiative saw a total of 28 petitioners and 91 persons approaching senior officers with complaints, suggestions and concerns.

Superintendent of Police (North) Rahul Gupta chaired the meeting at Colvale Police Station, interacting with five petitioners and 22 persons.

At Panaji PS, SDPO Sudesh Naik heard grievances from six petitioners and attended to 19 persons. SDPO Mapusa Wilson D’Souza conducted the meeting at Valpoi PS, where five petitioners were heard and 15 people attended.

SDPO Pernem, Shaikh Salim presided over the grievance session at Pernem PS, engaging with four petitioners and 20 persons.

At Saligao PS, SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe, interacted with eight petitioners and 15 persons.

SP Gupta said the regular conduct of such meetings is part of Goa Police’s outreach effort to foster transparency, resolve public issues efficiently and build trust with the community.
