The Navelim dog shooting incident took a new twist after the accused named in the FIR has deposited a second gun with the Margao police for the purpose of investigations.
The second gun deposited by the accused comes against the backdrop of the fact that the complainant claimed that the first gun deposited by the accused with the police did not match with the weapon captured on the CCTV footage.
Given the development, the complainant in the incident has demanded that the Margao police take the matter to its logical conclusion, seeking to know whether the police had conducted a search of the house to find out whether he has more guns in the house.
The complainant along with family members and animal lovers visited the Margao police station on Saturday to demand that the police expedite the investigations and attach the gun used to fire shots at the pet dog.
