In a major move within the Goa Police, 183 police personnel, ranging from constables to police sub-inspectors (PSIs), have been transferred to various places of postings.
Among these, 15 are PSIs, six are Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI), while the remaining are head constables and constables.
The transfers come ahead of the peak tourism season, with the International Film Festival of India and the feast of St Francis Xavier also scheduled in the coming days.
