Goa records 46 metric tonnes of fruit exports in 2025

Goa exported 46 metric tonnes of fruit in 2025, with bananas, pineapples and mangoes forming the major share, according to APEDA. 

Bananas led exports at 29.53 metric tonnes, with Goa contributing 0.08 per cent of India’s production and ranking 21st among 29 states. Pineapple exports stood at 5.52 metric tonnes, placing Goa 16th among 19 producing states with a 0.32 per cent national share.

Mangoes ranked third, with Goa contributing 0.05 per cent and standing 22nd among 29 states. Other fruits accounted for 0.86 metric tonnes, while jackfruit is grown but not exported.
