Goan violinist Sanya Myla Cotta no more

Goan violinist Sanya Myla Cotta passed away at St Luke’s Hospital in Brussels, Belgium, on Saturday. She was suffering from pneumonia. Her family informed in a statement.

Her family has also thanked everyone for their prayers and support. Cotta is said to have fallen ill with pneumonia while she was in Germany.

Myla began her studies at the age of three at the Conservatory of Hamburg. On her return to Goa, she continued her studies under Myra Shroff obtaining an associate diploma (ATCL, Trinity College of Music, London). She also had a fellowship of the Trinity College of Music.
