The State government has issued an order to give non-productivity linked bonus (Diwali bonus) to eligible categories of government employees through e-payment mode.
The bonus is also applicable to employees of autonomous bodies drawing government funds and following a similar pattern of payment of
salaries.
As per a circular issued by the Finance Department on Tuesday, Group C employees and all non-gazetted Group D employees drawing Grade Pay of Rs 4,600 and above (presently in the 7th pay matrix of 7th Pay Commission) as of April 1 are not eligible for the bonus.
