The Goa government has issued a draft notification declaring 24 water bodies “ 7 in North Goa and 17 in South Goa as Wetlands.
The draft notification shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of sixty days.
Citizens interested in making any objection or suggestion, on the proposals contained in the draft notification have been asked to forward the same in writing, for consideration of the Government of Goa within the 60-day period to the Member Secretary, Goa State Bio-diversity Board, Head of Nodal Agency, Goa State Wetland Authority, or at the email address [email protected].
