Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with Panaji MLA Atanasio Monserrate on a visit to Old Goa Medical College premises at Ribandar said, the government aims to start Community Health Centre taking into account the demand of its people and its surrounding areas.
The Chief Minister directed the Director of Higher Education to allocate required place in the premises to Directorate of Health Services so as to start the Community Health Centre before August 15. Suggesting initiating the procedure to hand over the place to Health Department, Chief Minister directed the director of Health Services to recruit required number of staff for CHC Ribandar.
The Chief Minister inspected the building along with Mayor CCP Rohit Monserrate and members of his council; Director of Higher Education, Prasad Lolyenkar, IAS; Director of Health Services, Dr Jose D’Sa and others.
