PANAJI: The State government has begun a recruitment drive in the education sector by issuing an advertisement to 182 posts of primary teachers in the Marathi medium.
Of the 182 posts, 45 posts have been reserved for the OBC, 43 posts for ST, 3 posts for SC and 91 posts in the open category.
The education department has also informed that 12 posts have been reserved for former soldiers, 24 posts for specially abled, nine posts for children of freedom fighters and nine posts for sportsmen.
In the advertisement, Director of Education Gajanan Bhat has stated that the posts can be filled online till September 6, while a copy of the application should be submitted in the department before September 11.
