The Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan held a GST Workshop for all the office bearers of the State executive as well as for the taluka level office bearers at Conference Hall, Secretariat, Porvorim on 18th December 2017. The workshop was conducted by a team of Chartered Accountants from Ecosphere headed by Sonam Daivajna, Pradnya Barde, Shashikumar Mandalgiri and Sneffa Gomes were the faculties for the same. The ZP members, sarpanchas and panch members gained a lot of information from this workshop on GST.
Earlier, President Nelly Rodrigues welcomed all the members & gave cheques of Rs.7,500/- to each of the block president for activities to be held in January 2018. The expenditure statements were presented to the house. Adhayaksha of North Goa Zilla Panchayat Ankita Navelkar moved a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Sha for winning the Gujarat and HP Elections.
The resolution was unanimously approved. Ankita also congratulated Chief Minister Manohar Parriker for the Schemes launched by him for women empowerment. Chitra Phadte then proposed the vote of thanks.
