A security guard deployed at the main gate of the Hospicio South Goa district hospital, Margao turned out a good Samaritan when he returned a lady's pouch containing cash and other documents to the owner.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when the security guard Siddesh Gauns, who was posted at the main gate of South Goa District Hospital Margao found a lady's pouch at the casualty entrance.
The security guard immediately handed the pouch to security supervisor Yellapa Ullagudi and it was realized that it contained documents, besides cash amounting to Rs 5,200.
When the security supervisor found the contact details in the pouch, he immediately contacted the owner and after a thorough investigation, the lady's pouch was handed over to her son Joseph Rebello who was looking after his mother admitted in the Hospital.
Joseph Rebello was very thankful for the act of Goa Human Resource Development Corporation Security Guards.
