PANAJI: Holy Mass with special prayers for healing will be held at the Shrine of St Joseph Vaz, Sancoale on May 13 . The service will begin at 7.45 am followed by mass at 9 am. The sick will be prayed over for healing through the intercession of St. Joseph Vaz, the Patron of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. It will end by 11.30 am. Healing service is conducted on every 2nd Friday of the month. Many people claim to have been healed and their prayers answered at this shrine. Friday masses are as follows: 7 am and 8.45 am at the Sanctuary and evening mass at 4 p.m at the Oratory Room. Sick are prayed over on 1st, 3rd, and 4th Friday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Childless couples and pregnant mothers and kids are prayed over on every 3rd Sunday of the month after 9 am mass. Sunday masses are held at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and weekday at 7 a.m. Priests are available at the Shrine on every Wednesday for confessions and spiritual guidance from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
