Health services in Goa better than any other state: Tawadkar
CURCHOREM: Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar said it is relatively easier to implement and keep a check on medical facilities in a small state like Goa, as compared to larger states.
"The health services in Goa are better than in any other state and hence, many people from neighbouring states come to Goa for medical assistance,” said Tawadkar.
Tawadkar was speaking during the inaugural function of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Kendra at Curchorem-Cacora Community Health Centre (CHC) and at Quepem Primary Health Centre (PHC).
He spoke of various schemes launched by the BJP government in Goa. “These schemes were launched in Goa taking into consideration every segment of the society. This kind of work was not done before by any political party,” he said.
Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral explained to the locals present the benefits and eligibility criteria of the scheme. He requested the locals to take benefit of the scheme.
