Taking serious view over illegal constructions coming up in no development zone along the Anjuna beach, the High Court of Bombay at Goa had recently directed authorities to immediately demolish an illegal construction built right on the beach.
The High Court had also directed the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority and the Anjuna-Caisua panchayat to hold a joint inspection of the entire Anjuna beach to identify any construction violating the coastal regulation zone norms and submit a report to the court. The matter is fixed for hearing on November 22.
