Holy Family Chapel to be inaugurated today

PANAJI:

What began as a vision rooted in faith is now becoming a sacred reality. The Holy Family Chapel at Housing Board, Gogol, Borda, Margao, will be blessed and inaugurated on Friday, May 2 at 9:00 AM by His Excellency Bishop Simião Purificação Fernandes, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.

This long-awaited moment is the fruit of prayer, unity, and tireless effort by many devoted individuals. Special recognition goes to Rev Fr Simon D’Cunha, Chaplain of St Joaquim Chapel, and Rev Fr Jovial Fernandes, whose unwavering dedication played a crucial role in the construction and completion of the chapel.

The occasion will also be graced by Rev Fr Amandio Valadares, Parish Priest of Holy Spirit Church, Rev Fr Franky Fernandes, and many other priests from across the Archdiocese, who will join the faithful in this joyous celebration.

The construction was ably overseen by Engineer Pascoal Noronha, whose technical expertise and commitment were vital in bringing the chapel to completion.

Cipriano De Souza, President of the Holy Family Chapel, along with the Chapel Committee and the parishioners of Holy Family Chapel, have shown unwavering commitment throughout the journey.

This new chapel stands as a testament to the strength of community and the power of faith. All are invited to witness this moment of grace and to join in thanking the Lord for this great blessing.
