PANAJI
The State-level Expert Committee on Covid-19 at its weekly meeting on Friday suggested monitoring of home isolation patients for a period of
17 days.

In addition to this, patients not registered on the State government’s online portal will now be registered by the Mamlatdar in each district to ensure complete coverage.

The expert committee has also suggested that while treating a Covid-19 patient in the hospital, Remdesivir ought to be administered to patients for a period of five days and in exceptional cases, it may be administered for 10 days or as per the doctor’s discretion.
