Idd Milad Un Nabi observed in Valpoi
VALPOI: Students of Maktab e Farukiya, run by Jamat Ul Muslimeen, at Hathwada-Valpoi celebrated Idd Milad Un Nabi on Monday.
About 100 children took part to mark the importance of the celebration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed. Many children spoke and highlighted the character of Prophet Mohammed.
Some children in their speeches stressed on moral values, while a few presented drama on character building. A large number of Muslims had gathered at the venue.
Earlier, former president of Jammate Muslemin Hath Valpoi Haji Jafar Aga was felicitated. Later in the evening, a procession was taken out by a large number of Muslims in Valpoi.
