In yet another overhaul, 11 PIs transferred, 7 HCs promoted

In yet another administrative overhaul, the Goa Police on Wednesday ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 11 Police Inspectors, including one woman officer, even as seven head constables were promoted on the same day. While in a separate order, seven head constables have been promoted.

The transfers have been ordered “in public interest” with immediate effect.  

PI Arun Gauns Dessai has been moved from Maina-Curtorim Police Station (PS) to Margao Town PS, while PI Ramnath alias Kapil Nayak has been shifted from ACB/Vigilance to Maina-Curtorim PS.

PI Suraj Samant has been transferred from Margao Town PS  to TEC Panaji, PI Vijaynath Kavlekar from Ponda PS  to the Security Unit in Panaji, and PI Mohan Gaude has been posted from the Security Unit in Panaji to Ponda PS.

PI Milind Bhuimbar has been transferred from Saligao PS to Police Headquarters (PHQ) Panaji, while PI Dinesh Gadekar moved from PHQ Panaji to Saligao PS. PI Laxi Amonkar has been shifted from CB Ribandar (SIT Mining) to Calangute PS, and PI Paresh Naik has been transferred from Calangute PS  to CB Ribandar.

Lady Police Inspector Suvarna Talgaonkar has been moved from the Women PS  to GRP A Coy, whereas PI Nathan De Almeida has been transferred from Fatorda PS to the Security Unit Panaji.

The seven head constables promoted are Santosh Gawas, Rajesh Bhagat, Rohidas Kadam, Pravin Desai, Sudhakar Jadhav, Sanjay Sawal and Premanand Sawant.
