A bison that was injured after being hit by a train between Kallem to Collem route died on Tuesday morning. The animal died while undergoing treatment.
The bison was found in an injured condition next to the railway track on Monday evening. The animal was likely hit by a train, according to officials. Officials of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary sanctuary conducted a panchanama at the spot on Tuesday.
