This man is on a different mission “ driving Covid patients to hospitals for tests and scanning.
In fact, Jolan D’Silva, driving a Covid van donated by Wilfred D'Sa Charitable Society for Nuvem constituency, has been working 24x7 with the single aim to reach out to the Covid patients in distress.
Jolan has been also undertaking sanitization of houses of Covod positive patients in the constituency.
MLA Wilfred D’Sa appreciated the work put in by Jolan in times of the pandemic to reach out to the patients in distress. “He has been driving the ambulance provided by my Society to transport the people and positive patients to the hospitals and back home. Single-handedly he has shouldered the task of taking the patients to the hospitals for testing and scanning”, he added.
In the meantime, D’Sa said his Charitable Society has engaged the services of Dr Savio Diasto check and guide the Covid patients in Nuvem Constituency.
“There are so many positive patients who are under home isolation and who have recovered too. The doctor engaged by my society will visit the homes of the patients to inquire into their condition. Along with Sarpanch of Betalbatim Constancio Miranda, the doctor has visited the Covid patients and checked them. They visited around 18 houses”, D’Sa said
