J’khand man dies after ramming car into truck

A tragic accident claimed the life of Milind Ujwal Sinha, a resident of Jharkhand, when the car he was driving collided with a truck parked by the roadside at Chopdem.   

The impact of the crash was so severe that Sinha died on the spot. His wife, who sustained injuries in the accident, was rushed to Mapusa District Hospital for treatment and was later discharged.   

The accident occurred when the four-wheeler, bearing registration number KA-03-NJ-8567, was speeding from Chopdem to Siolim. The car first hit the protection wall at Chopdem Circle, before careening off and smashing into a truck parked by the road. The force of the collision left the car totally mangled.   

Under the direction of Mandrem Police Inspector Girendra Naik, the police conducted the inquest panchnama at the scene.

The statement of Milind Sinha’s father was recorded, and the body was sent to Goa Medical College in Bambolim for post-mortem.

The Mandrem Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
