Karnataka BJP government falls

In latest political development in Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa resigned within 55 hours of being sworn in as Chief Minister of Karnataka. He stated in the Legislative Assembly that he had taken the step after failing to muster the numbers to prove the majority on the House floor.  After an emotional speech, BSY headed directly to meet the Governor in order to submit his resignation.

HD Kumaraswamy who is the Chief Ministerial candidate of the Congress- Janata Dal (S) alliance stated that he is now awaiting the Governor’s invitation to form the government. All eyes are now set on the decision of Governor Vajubhai Vala
