Kashyap duo get Delhi transfer

IPS Kalsi, Mahala to replace them

Superintendent of Goa Police Crime Branch Kartik Kashyap and his wife Superintendent of Anti-Terrorist Branch Priyanka Kashyap have been transferred to Delhi.

In an order, the Union Home Ministry has transferred IPS officers Sagar Singh Kalsi and Devesh Kumar Mahala in place of Kartik and Priyanka Kashyap.

According to sources, both the police officers will be relieved from Goa government service after the BRICS Summit later this month.

Kartik and Priyanka Kashyap had joined the Goa government service in August 2013. On January 9, 2014, Kartik Kashyap was given the charge of Crime Branch, Anti-Narcotic Cell, while Priyanka Kashyap was made in-charge of the Anti-Terrorist Squad, Economic Offence Cell on February 25, 2015.

Both the police officers are of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre of 2009 batch.

IPS Officer of AGMUT cadre 2010 batch Sagar Singh Kalsi is holding charge of additional Police Commissioner of Delhi, while Devesh Kumar Mahala is SDOP of Delhi Police Kotwal Division.
