Kenyan held for int'l human trafficking

PANAJI:

 The Crime Branch sleuths of Goa Police have arrested a Kenyan woman identified as Nancy King’ori aka Alian for allegedly running an international human and sex trafficking racket. 

As per a media statement issued by Superintendent of Police (CB) Rahul Gupta, the woman was apprehended in Bangalore and brought to Goa where she was formally arrested.

An investigation promoted after a complaint on March 3 by another Kenyan national, who claimed that King’ori had forced her into prostitution and had been living off the victim's earnings since November 18, 2024,

Gupta said the accused is the kingpin of human trafficking involving Kenyan nationals. She has been remanded to seven days of police custody.
