'Khell' in Ponda today
PONDA: Tiatr Academy Goa in association with Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) will organise a three-day ‘Khell’ mahotsav at the volleyball court in Ponda from February 19, at 4 pm.
The three-day festival will be inaugurated by PMC Chairperson Dr Radhika Nayak. Deputy Collector and PMC Chief Officer Johnson Fernandes and Vice Chairperson Shantaram Kolvekar will be present on the occasion.
‘Khell’ is not new to the people of Ponda, as it was staged in the city decades ago on several occasions.
During the three-day festival, 'Tim Bhurgim Konnachim', 'Kelele Upkar', 'Lakhopati', 'Konnuch Pavonk Na', 'Yo tu Goyam', 'Ghorabo Konnacho', 'Sopnam', 'Viswas Ghatki', 'Fog', 'Bhavartan Maglelem', 'He Roste Mogache' and 'Axea' will be staged.
The prize distribution function will be held on February 21, at 8 pm.
