Claiming that youth BJP workers have rallied behind former ZP member Krishna Velip and that the latter has significant contacts due to his works and development oriented tendencies in panchayats such as Betul, Fatorpa, Balli, Morpirla, Khola, Avedem and other municipal areas of Quepem constituency, the BJP workers from Khola panchayat area have demanded that the BJP leadership allot the ticket for Quepem constituency to former ZP member Krishna Velip.

Addressing a press conference, Ravindra Velip, said for the last 20 years when Khola panchayat area was a part of Canacona constituency, the BJP workers in this panchayat area worked for the BJP. For the last elections when the Khola panchayat area was included in Quepem constituency, we have rallied behind Velip. Our aim has been to attain the maximum lead for BJP from Khola panchayat area,” Ravindra Velip remarked.

“With this in mind, the BJP workers in Khola panchayat have demanded that the party ticket for Quepem constituency in the ensuing Assembly polls be allotted to Krishna Velip,” Ravindra Velip stated, while adding that all the BJP workers will rally behind Krishna for assembly polls, as they have done in the past to get the latter elected for ZP polls.

Khola panch Guru Velip and Khola BJP workers - Fondu Velip, Prasad Velip and Satish Vaiz were also present at the press conference.
