KTCL introduces new AC buses on inter-state routes

PANAJI:

Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has introduced brand new Air Conditioned Sleeper buses (2+1) and luxury buses (2+2) on interstate routes. These bus services will be available on daily basis and it aims to provide comfortable and convenient travel options for commuters.

KTCL has introduced daily AC Sleeper Bus Services on routes such as Mapusa to Bengaluru & Back with departures from Mapusa (5.30 pm), Panaji, Margao, Ponda Via Anmod-Dharwad-Hubballi-Bengaluru and return journey from Bengaluru at 7.45 pm.

Another AC Sleeper bus service will be available on route, Margao to Pune “Shirdi and Back with departures from Margao (5 pm), Panaji, Mapusa via Banda-Pune-Shirdi and return journey from Shirdi at 2 pm.

Similary, Goa-Hyderabad (AC Sleeper) Bus service has been introduced via Margao-Panaji-Mapusa, Sankhali-Belgavi-Vijayapura-Kalaburagi. Starting from 4 pm and return journey from Hyderabad at 5pm.

It is informed that, KTCL has plans to re-start its operations on Goa-Mumbai (Dhobitalao) and Back route with AC sleeper bus with departures from Margao-Panaji-Mapusa-Banda via Zarap, Chiplun-Khed and return from Mumbai Central and Dhobitalao.

Considering the demand of commuters KTCL intends to launch bus services on new routes with luxury push back seat (2+2) Non AC bus from Goa to Mangaluru-Dharmasthala and Back via Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, kundupura and Udupi. And also another bus service on Goa-Hospete-Humpi & back route via Ponda-Anmod, Hubbali, Gadak, Koppale.

MAPUSA:Home appliances and furniture worth about Rs 9 lakh were destroyed in a fire at a villa in Sangolda on Thursday evening.The incident took place at about 5.40 pm when the family renting out the villa had gone out.
