BELAGAVI
Three members of a family were killed when their hut was struck by lightning during the unseasonal rains in Savadi in Belagavi district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Adarsh Alagur (45), wife Anantamati (38) and their son Darshan (18).
According to the police, the Alagur family hailed from Maigur village in Jamakhandi taluka and had arrived in Savadi in search of a job and was staying at a hut since few months. The Athani police have registered a case.
