The Lion’s Club of Gomant Gogol warmly welcomed District Governor PMJF Lion Jose F. Erle Brito for an official visit. The visit included presenting the Annual Report and celebrating Charter Nite.
At the event, two outstanding young people were honoured. Bipin Khedekar, founder of Antarang Productions, was recognised as a ‘Youth Icon’ for his work in inspiring change and creativity among young people through digital media and filmmaking.
Prof Dr FM Nadaf was also honoured for his contributions to Education & Academics. As Deputy Director of Higher Education, Dr. Nadaf is dedicated to nurturing future leaders.
Bipin Khedekar’s inspiring speech struck a chord with the audience, sharing his vision for empowering young people. Dr. Chandrakant Hiremath was acknowledged for his thirty years of service to the club.
Acting President Lion Vishnu Kare, Region Chairman Lion Joaquim Gonsalves, and Zone Councilor Yogita Vernekar graced the event, highlighting the club’s dedication to serving the community and promoting positive change under exceptional leadership.
