The executive committee members along with 21 members visited CM along with Lobo for a meeting on solving the ongoing taxi strike called by the union from January 19 onwards. CM has assured all the executive members from North and South to settle this problem of speed governors on taxis. He has assured to issue fitness certificate to all taxis latest by January 24. I assure all the striking members of both taxi unions that the assurance given will be fulfilled failing which I shall be responsible for the follow-up and will do what I have promised today in Azad Maidan.
