Lynessa wins laurels
PANAJI: Lynessa Lynette Linson of St Francis Xavier Higher Secondary School, Siolim, won the first place in the essay writing competition organised by the department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs on the theme, ‘Safe and healthy food: Combating Food Adulteration.’
She also won the first place at the district-level and the second place at the State-level in elocution at the State Youth Festival-2015. She is also the winner of the first prize in the elocution competition conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Cell, Goa Police; the Directorate of Art and Culture in collaboration with Mashel Kala Premee and St Thomas HSS, Aldona, during this academic year. Besides, she bagged the first prize at the debate organised by DM College as part of Ekathra-15, and poster making competition conducted by the Siolim Health Centre.
Lynessa was also a member of the school team which secured the third prize at the Accounts Quest-2015 “ an all Goa quiz on accountancy. She also represented the school in the tug-of-war where the school team won the third place.
