Maharashtra man held for cheating Mapusa supplier

PANAJI

Mapusa police have arrested Sandesh Ghadi on charges of cheating an electrical goods supplier from Khorlim-Mapusa to the tune of Rs 8.55 lakh.

Police said Ghadi was accused of taking electrical goods from the supplier, Prakash Seervi, under the pretext that the payment would be done through companies located at the IDC.

However, the complainant stated that the accused used the goods for personal use and failed to pay the bill.

Police later arrested the accused from his residence at Sawantwadi-Maharastra and recovered the electrical goods from him.
