Man drowns in river near Dudhsagar waterfall

A tragic incident occurred at a river near the Dudhsagar waterfall on Sunday. Pawan Kumar, a 25-year-old from Mangaluru, Karnataka, drowned while bathing with two friends. The friends rushed him to Ramnagar hospital for treatment, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

Upon conducting panchanama, the Ramnagar police realized that the incident had occurred within the jurisdiction ofGoa. Therefore, they informed Collem police who conducted further investigations.

According to the Collem police, Pawan Kumar drowned while bathing in the river on Sunday. He was taken to Ramnagar hospital, but unfortunately, he had already passed away. The Ramnagar police discovered that the incident had happened on the Goa side of the river and informed Collem police who conducted panchanama on Monday morning.

The case is currently being investigated by PI Sagun Sawant and sub-inspector Ajay Dhuri.
