Mapusa Municipal Council Chairperson Ryan Braganza will be the chairman of the Mapusa carnival committee while former chairperson, Michael Carrasco has been appointed as the general secretary.
Former urban development minister and Mapusa MLA Francisco D’Souza will be the convenor. All councilors of the Mapusa Municipal Council will be the vice presidents of the committee. Councilor Joshua D’Souza will be the treasurer while Nisha Mayekar will be the joint treasurer and Lenny D’Souza the joint secretary. Councilor Franky Carvalho will head the programme committee while Vice-Chairperson, Marlene D’Souza will chair the reception committee. Senior councilor, Rohan Kavlekar will be the infrastructure chairman. While, Carl D’Souza and Rajsingh Rane will be the chairman of float parade and publicity committees respectively.
