Mapusa college's club book launched
MAPUSA: The Peace Club, newly-introduced at St Xavier College, co-ordinated by Prof Zen Lobo, brought out its first publication, a book entitled, ‘Peace - Together We Can.’
It is co-authored by Sr Sabina Miranda, FHIC and Prof Zen Lobo and edited by college principal Fr Walter de Sa, with a cover design by Prof Worrel D’Souza, and contains eight sessions on different perspectives of peace.
The book was formally launched by Dr Glenn Shive, vice-president of United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, at Kolkota.
Ricky Chang from Hong Kong, Kevin Henderson from New York, Dr Xavier Alphonse, Dr Alexander Jesudasan, president of AIACHE, Dr Valan Arasu, vice president of AIACHE and Dr V M Spurgeon, Chaplain and programme consultant, United Board were present at the launch.
