Margao fire brigade rushed to the Lohia Maidan, Margao after receiving a call that waste dumped near the Power transformer is engulfed by fire.
The fire brigade immediately brought the fire under control, but locals questioned over the accumulation of waste near the Power transformer.
Locals demanded that the authorities should clear the waste dumped inside the Lohia Maidan and maintain the sanctity of the historic place.
