The Vasco Tiranga Bike Rally got a massive response on Tuesday evening, as hundreds of bikes with national flags lined up near the KTC bus stand at Vasco.
Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade who flagged off the rally also participated in the rally and led from the front while riding an EV bike with Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar as his pillion rider.
Speaking to reporters, Tanavade said the motto of the rally was to inculcate patriotism among the youth.
"I am glad that this initiative is taken up across the State and we have participated in the rally at Vasco constituency. The rally organised by the Karyakartas and Vasco Mandal is very well organised and I am happy that I could personally get involved in the rally after my arrival from Delhi.”
