Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho on Tuesday evening chose to ride an EV bike during the Tiranga Bike Rally which was flagged off from the Chicalim circle.

Godinho appealed to the youth to participate in the rally using EV bikes as a token of love towards the environment.

"I appeal to the youth to participate in the rally using EV bikes which will send a good message of being environment-friendly and to inspire people. We want to send a message across the State to promote the use of EV bikes as a step towards protecting the environment,” said Godinho.

“The government has also taken steps to encourage people to buy EV bikes so that there is no pollution. We are already having the rally to promote and create the patriotic fervour towards the country, especially among youth so that they don't forget the sacrifices of the people to achieve this freedom and Independence.”
