Accordingly, about 40 Matoli vendors were shifted to taxi stand, while others were allowed to sit in the market. However, the vendors complained that there were no customers at the taxi stand and they were made to sit in the hot sun. Some councillors visited the taxi stand and reported the matter to Chairperson Rohan Kavlekar, who took 3-4 rounds at Mapusa taxi stand to take stock of the situation. Later, Kavlekar decided to relocate them in the Mapusa municipal market. In the evening, the vendors were shifted in the market.
