MBBS exams: Sawant refutes allegations

MARGAO
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday refuted the allegations levelled by the Goa forward chief that he had pressurised the acting GMC dean to increase the marks of his close relatives in the MBBS exams.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of his visit to the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on the occasion of the commemoration of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said he has told the GMC Dean to compile the facts on the allegations made by the Goa Forward.

“The GFP chief has stooped too low in his attack against the government. I want to clarify that I had no role to play in the episode,” he added.
