Canacona police have detained two persons reportedly found in possession of suspected MDMA in a narcotics raid on Wednesday evening.
According to reliable sources, the police have reportedly seized significant quantity of suspected MDMA during the operations conducted near Char-Rasta, Canacona.
The two persons already detained are reportedly in custody of Canacona police in connection with the case, and are likely to be arrested soon.
Sources said the investigation is ongoing as police are ascertaining the quantity and value of the seized narcotics substance and the identities of the two detained accused. Police are reportedly working to find links of the accused to further contacts.
