The State government has appointed retired IAS officer Menino D’Souza as the new Commissioner of the Goa State Election Commission (SEC).
The appointment order was issued on Tuesday and comes into effect immediately.
Menino D’Souza, a seasoned bureaucrat with decades of administrative experience, will now oversee the functioning of the SEC, including the conduct of elections to local bodies, panchayats and other statutory electoral processes in the State.
