The Merces panchayat has begun patching potholes in the village, with newly elected sarpanch Pramod Kamat personally monitoring the work.
As the roads at Dovornem junction were in bad shape because of the potholes, the patchwork was undertaken there first with the help of jetpatcher.

“The patching work has been started at Dovornem and then potholes in other areas would also be taken up,” Kamat assured.
Panch Dayesh Vengurlekar was also present with the sarpanch in monitoring the patch-up works.
