The MGP on Wednesday promised that if they come to power after the 2022 Assembly elections they will give free electricity and water in rural areas of Goa.
MGP working President Dipak Dhavalikar who addressed a press conference in the city said Goa's per capita budget is around Rs 1.40 lakh. In Delhi it is Rs 30,000 yet the national capital gives several free services to its citizens but Goa gives nothing, he said.
"It is because of poor planning. If we come to power, we will give free water and power to the people of rural areas,” Dhavlikar said.
Dhavlikar denied any plans for striking alliances and said that MGP will contest on its own at the 2022 polls.
