Speaking on the sidelines of a public meeting in Ponda, Singh said it was a false propaganda by BJP to woo the voters.
“If the BJP has guts, then it should lodge FIR against Congress leaders in the mining scam,” Singh told The Goan.
According to Singh, the BJP had alleged Rs 35,000 crore mining scam during the Congress regime, which it should have had investigated and booked those found guilty. “If Congress was responsible, why didn’t the BJP file FIR against the culprits,” Singh asked.
Earlier addressing the meeting, Singh expressed confidence that the Congress would get majority in the State. “Remember one thing, casting vote to AAP is like paving way for BJP to win this election. Be wise and vote,” Singh appealed.
Former chief minister Ravi Naik also spoke.
