Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho convened a joint meeting in the Secretariat to discuss the 'Colour Coded Zoning Map' (CCZM) for constructions around the Dabolim airport.
Those present at the meeting included Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area Rear Admiral P G Philipose, Cdr Vipin Malaparambath, Cdr R K Khullar, Cdr Ranjit, AAI Airport Director Gagan Malik, Mormugao Planning & Development Authority Member Secretary K Ashok Kumar and members of CREDAI, Goa.
Various suggestions were placed and improvements sort to be made to the CCZM, which the Naval authorities submitted to the MPDA.
Inputs were attained from every stakeholder to bring ease of functioning to the MPDA as well annunciating a clear road map for Naval authorities, whereby they can follow the Aircraft Act 1934 and various other circulars that followed, without any compromise to aircraft safety and at the same time, getting early clearances for the CREDAI members.
