Miscreants damage Easter hoarding, Cuncolim traders file complaint with police

The Cuncolim Traders Association has lodged a complaint with the police stating that the hoarding put up by the association has been damaged and defaced by unknown culprits.

In the complaint, the association pointed out that some unknown persons have damaged the hoarding/banner put up on the eve of Easter extending wishes on the occasion of Easter.

The complaint further stated that the banner has been disfigured by some unknown persons at around 12 noon on April 2, 2024 by defacing the photo of President Yatin Talaulikar with black paint.

While urging strong action against the culprits, the association has offered to share the footage of the episode with the police.

Cuncolim police station in-charge, PI Diogo Gracias informed that the culprit, who was involved in defacing the banner was called by the police, adding that action as per law will be initiated in the matter.
