BICHOLIM
A woman who was reported missing in Surla-Bicholim has been traced in Belagavi. According to the Bicholim police, the husband had filed a complaint stating that his wife had gone missing from their rented room on December 28, 2025, at about 7 am. He, along with their children, conducted a search in and around the locality, but she was not found and her mobile phone had been switched off. They also contacted their relatives, but she was not traceable.
Acting on the missing complaint from the husband, the police began an investigation and obtained her call details, which identified her location at Dohonaga Industrial Estate, Karnataka. Accordingly, a Bicholim police team proceeded to Belagavi and traced the missing woman. She was later brought back to Bicholim and, after formalities, reunited with her family.
