St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar has filed a police complaint with Agassaim police regarding an illegal food kiosk being set up on the new Zuari Bridge.
Borkar has further sought the arrest of 11 persons who had charged at the MLA after he had forced the closure of the temporary kiosk.
In his complaint which was submitted to Agassaim PSI Akshay Parsekar, the MLA stated that one Raju Mourya illegally set up a food stall and committed power theft for supplying electricity to the coffee machine and refrigerator.
He also mentioned the project head of DBL and a former MLA who Mourya claimed had told him to set up the stall and had given permission even though neither of them had the authority to give any such permission.
Further, Borkar also mentioned that after asking the illegal stall to be removed one Luvkush Mourya along with 10 other unknown persons, who were waiting at the end of the bridge, charged at him with intent to harm and insulted an elected member of the Legislative Assembly.
Borkar has sought arrest of all these people immediately.
