With the Zilla Panchayat elections planned for December 13, efforts are underway to launch as many projects ahead of the model code of conduct.
In Mandrem constituency, Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar will launch work on as many as 17 projects on a single day.
The projects consist of 1. Construction of gutter from Prashant Naik’s house to Vilas Kerkar’s house at Dhaktebag Keri Goa, under MLA-LAD Scheme at 9.30 am; 2. Improvement and asphalting of road from main roads to Bandar crematorium at Dhaktebag under V.P Querim-Tiracol at 9.45 am; 3. Improvement of new pipeline at Village Panchayat Querim - Providing distribution mains water supply pipelines at Village Querim at 10 am; 4. Urgent re-constraction of culvert on road leading from main road MDR -17 to Parsekarwada in V.P. Arambol at 10.40 am; 5. Improvement, widening and resurfacing of road from Arambol Tito junction to Korgao Boundary on MDR-17 in V.P. Arambol at 11 am; 6. Maintenance of RWSS - Replacement of Distribution pipeline at Girkarwada and Khalchawada in Arambol Village Panchayat area at 11.15 am; 7. Construction of retaining wall and side drain from Nanu Resort to Mithagar road junction on MDR-18 in V.P. Arambol at 11.30 am; 8. Improvement, widening & re-surfacing with hotmix carpet of Internal Roads at Dandoswada, V. P Mandrem at 12 pm; 9. Maintenance of RWSS - Replacement of Distribution pipeline from Navratna Junction to Diwanji Temple at Temwada in Morjim Village Panchayat at 12.30 pm; 10. Improvement, widening and hotmixing of road from Khind to Ajoba Temple (MDR-53) in V.P. Morjim at 12.45 pm; 11. Shifting of Pipeline due to widening of the MDR road from Chopdem to Querim at 1 pm; 12. Improvement widening and hotmixing of MDR-19 road from Pernem ITI to Agarwada junction (MDR-19) at 3 pm; 13. Hotmixing of various internal roads at ward 01 from IDC Tuem to Camulkar house under V.P. Tuem at 3.30 pm; 14. Improvement, Widening and resurfacing of road from MDR-19 to Village Panchayat Tuem at 4 pm; 15. Improvement widening and hotmixing of road from Chariwada Vaidongar Parcem to Gaonkarwada Tuem at 4.15 pm; 16. Improvement, widening and hotmixing of road from Tuem EMC to Tuem IDC in V.P. Tuem at 4.30 pm; 17. Reconstruction of existing pipe culvert with RCC slab near Sham-Sundar Parab at Virnoda at Ward No.02 under V.P. Virnoda at 5 pm.
